Legend has it that during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the emperor hunted back to the palace from the paddock and passed through this area, leaving people feeling tired and thirsty. Difficult to find nectar, at this moment, a white rabbit suddenly appeared in front of Kangxi, jumping happily in front of him, leading him into the kiln ditch. At this moment, the spirit of Kangxi's dragon cavalry was unleashed, and they roared fiercely, searching for a spring in their chosen place. Suddenly, the clear spring overflowed all over, and the soldiers and officials were startled and delighted, quenching Kangxi's thirst. Therefore, the legend of the divine horse chiseling the spring to save Kangxi is widely circulated, and the word "Jiuhe Jiu" is homophonic, hence the name "Jiulong Spring".
