Rehe Chinese Herbal Medicine Flowers Town

  Rehe Chinese Herbal Medicine Flowers Town is located in Xiayingzi village, Jingoutun town, Luanping county.

  It has reputation for “the first Chinese herbal medicine farm under the heaven”because it was the "Chinese herbal medicine farm" of the royal family in the Qing Dynasty. 

  The total area of the town is 135 hectares, with an investment of 134 million yuan.

  It will create a characteristic traditional Chinese medicine industrial park with the integration of planting, production and marketing, R & D and exchange of traditional Chinese herbal medicine.  The park has established five functional areas, including medicinal planting resources exhibition area, planting resources nursery area,medicinal plant breeding area, Ecological planting integrated technology demonstration area, standardized planting and sightseeing  area.

  It is the largest Chinese herbal medicine planting base in Yanshan area.

  With excellent natural environment and characteristic planting resources of traditional Chinese herbal medicine, the park has explored the characteristic model of poverty alleviation which is relying on land resources to promote local economic development.  The park  implements the integrated development of "agriculture,tourism and culture" to promote the revitalization of the countryside.  At present, it has formed a variety of tourism modes, such as flower sightseeing tours, academic research tours, Chinese herbal medicine health care tours,  picking, local life experience, parent-child activity, conference and exhibition, catering and accommodation and so on.  A large number of tourists come to experience them.
